More about the show:
Wing-It Productions is proud to present its latest improvised play - Men of Action!
Men of Action is a thrillingly improvised play of forgotten cities, ancient relics and deadly adversaries. Styled after the
adventure serials of the 1930's and "Raiders of the Lost Ark", Men of Action centers on two adventurers, Paul Newcastle (played by Jon Axell)
and David Duffy (Jeremy Brown), as they attempt to keep rare antiquities out of enemy hands.
Men of Action features a new relic and enemy each night, chosen by the audience. Each performance the cast will create
completely new plots and characters. No two nights will ever be the same.
Men of Action is created and directed by Mike Christensen (director of 2009's Bunker 13). Costumes are by Jeannine Clarke.
Men of Action features an all star cast of Seattle's premiere improvisors and actors: Chris Allen, Jon Axell (Go Tigers!),
Jeremy Brown (Clues), Jeannine Clarke (Clues), Graham Downing (Funbucket), Dusty Lee, Jen Rizor (Dirty Laundry),
Phoebe Richards (Clues), Erin Plischke (Pimprov), and Dan Zertuche (Bunker 13).
Performances are at 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays, August 5th to the 20th and September 2nd to the 17th, at the
Wing-It Productions (5510 University Way NE). Tickets are $14.
Wing-It will host an Opening Night Show & Gala on Thursday, August 5th. Champagne and cake will follow the show, with an opportunity
to speak with the cast and crew, as well as members of Wing-It Productions.
Men of Action is sponsored by the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, Artsfund, and 4Culture.
Men of Action is brought to you by Wing-It Productions, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to enlightening,
educating and entertaining audiences of all ages by producing theatrical events which explore theater by utilizing its improvisational roots.

Review
Seen all the explosions and death-defying stunts this summer? Left feeling a little unfilled by Salt or Knight and Day? Keep
thinking what you really need is a dame with an attitude or a guy in a fedora? Maybe a few snakes and a bullwhip?
Highly inspired by Indiana Jones and his imitators, Wing-It's latest improv play features Men of Action (plus a few women of
action too) struggling through the jungle, sunken temple, Vatican, or other setting selected by audience. The jokes are broad, the actors love
rolling on the floor (and may not realize this makes them invisible to the back row), and the sheer good humor of the performers and the audience
keeps the laughs rolling.
There's also a nifty full-service bar right behind the seats: a feature unique to University Theatre. Men of Action starts at
8 p.m. each Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00pm, August 19 to 20 ,and September 2 to 17, 2010 at the Historic University Theatre. Want to know the
setting of the night, possible plot twists, or other secrets? Follow Wing-It on Twitter.
